Fedrigoni 365 2021:

In summer 2020 I was fortunate enough to be asked to take part in Fedrigoni 365; a yearly calendar featuring contributions from hundreds of designers.

The prompt word for my design was open, and I was given the number 8. I approached the design of this number by removing the counters from the form, creating one large shape that would contrast with whatever background colour was used in each printed edition. This created a sense of openness within the saturation of the block colour background.
